do they know

Does a snake know which way it goes while slithering on the ground? does it follow a random direction or is it a scent or a sound? does the bird care to know why it flies, or does just breath in the air and enjoy the skies? Does a swimming fish care to know what is beyond the sea or does it just swim about being the best fish it can be? Animals have their ways of moving about, keeping them strong keeping them stout. They don't have the time to ponder and question the meaning of it all, for they realize their lives are short, insignificant and small.
